Firebrick Vineyard at Salisbury Farm

Our Story
From Concept to Completion & then Vine to Wine...
Little remains of what used to be a thriving community. In the late 1800's, the community of Firebrick hosted a manufacturing company, producing bricks for the firing ovens of Ohio Valley steel mills . History also records that the little town helped build America, sending bricks down the Ohio River to help build the streets of cities, such as New Orleans.
Firebrick Vineyard and Salisbury Farm has a very special story yet to be fully written or told. So we hope you'll be a part of it. We love our region of Kentucky and the Ohio River Valley. We're already firing up the economic kiln once again in the region and new wine is flowing from the heart of the United States and the first state in the nation to birth a commercial winery.
